Apogen® spirulina water extract differs from commonly used immune ingredients such as lactoferrin, propolis, and echinacea by offering broader applicability and a more inclusive safety profile. Unlike spirulina blue, which is commonly used as a food colorant, Apogen® is positioned as a functional ingredient for immune support and antioxidant activity. It also supports a healthy inflammatory response and is commonly applied in formulations targeting nervous system, joint, inner ear, and liver health.
For dosage application, the recommended intake is 50–60 mg per day for children under 12 years old, and 100–120 mg per day for individuals aged 12 and above. For optimal results, it is suggested to divide the daily dosage into three separate servings.
Apogen® Spirulina water extract displays a natural blue color and has a characteristic, naturally acquired taste. The ingredient is 100% natural, temperature-sensitive, and best processed below 50 °C. It is also highly water-soluble.
