A research conducted by Professor Jiang Bo Lun of Clinical Medicine at National Taiwan University and Fisheries Research Institute Professor Zhou Hongnong discovered that the microalgae protein from red algae sourced from Taiwan sea coast can significantly reduce airway inflammatory cells, and have positive effect on reducing allergic asthma. This research was published on "American Journal of Respiratory and Intensive Care Medicine" and is soon applicable for patent and clinical trial. This research has stimulated our R&D team, leading us to think whether our research of protein extract from Spirulina will have similar effects.
